I've mentioned her before, probably ad nauseum. But this time, it's different. Lifetime just recently aired its new Anna Nicole Smith movie, and Amy covered the song Fame for the trailer. She received such awesome feedback from it, and so many demands for a full length version of the song, that she recorded it recently and it's now on iTunes. And, yesterday, an absolutely awesome article was published about her on the Huffington Post!!
If you've ever read my blog, you know how proud I am of Amy, and how much I respect her as a person and as a musician. Nobody in the world deserves this more or has worked harder for it, and it's amazing to see her get this recognition.
And if this is the first time you're reading my blog, because you happened across it looking for the song, thanks for coming by, and PLEASE check out the rest of Amy's music. Her website is linked at the top of this post, and you can search her name on iTunes and Amazon and find her other work. Also, go like her Facebook page!
And in case you hadn't already seen it, here's the trailer in question:

Hmmm...! Now I know that Amy is the voice behind the moody snippets of song "Fame" that were heard during the trailer for Anna Nicole, Lifetime Television's original movie. Thanks for this post rebecca.
